As Western powers struggle to come up with a plan to tackle the Libyan crisis, Gaddafi’s forces are killing the people(or drugged youths as Gadafi calls them) if Libya. Gaddafi’s forces have the superior weaponry to defeat the uprising and as Gaddafi’s son Saif said – “The rebels hotbed: Benghazi would fall within 48hrs”.

This goes on amidst UN wrangling over a resolution authorizing a no-fly zone over Libya. Both Obama and Cameron have both said Gaddafi ‘must’ step down and we all know the fool won’t do anything like that. Surely the Western powers that be must know that the only way Gaddafi would relinquish power is through force. As the conflict goes on, the question is: who blinks first, Gaddafi or the West?
