Security Council Resolution 1973

The UN passed the Security Council Resolution 1973 yesterday, with the usual suspects(China & Russia) abstaining and Germany surprisingly being cowards.
The next step is open to question, what if Gaddafi stops all air attacks and instead use ground forces to continue his reign of terror?, will NATO and other nations sit by or launch a full scale attack on forces loyal to Gaddafi?.
Nothing is sure, but what is much clearer is the majority of the world have made their voice heard and sent a clear message to Gaddafi that they won’t stand idly by and watch him slaughter his own people.
Prime Minister David Cameron has shown great courage and leadership in insisting from the start that the UN take a munch firmer approach to the Libyan crisis, President Obama must also be commended for letting the UN take a prominent place in proposing actions on Gaddafi
