The UN passed the Security Council Resolution 1973 yesterday, with the usual suspects(China & Russia) abstaining and Germany surprisingly being cowards.

The next step is open to question, what if Gaddafi stops all air attacks and instead use ground forces to continue his reign of terror?, will NATO and other nations sit by or launch a full scale attack on forces loyal to Gaddafi?.

Nothing is sure, but what is much clearer is the majority of the world have made their voice heard and sent a clear message to Gaddafi that they won’t stand idly by and watch him slaughter his own people.
Prime Minister David Cameron has shown great courage and leadership in insisting from the start that the UN take a munch firmer approach to the Libyan crisis, President Obama must also be commended for letting the UN take a prominent place in proposing actions on Gaddafi

Which of these has extreme views?

Which would you rather want, look at what the banners say and tell me which ones have extremist views. The EDL banner says things like “Support our troops”, “We want no more mosques”. They didn’t say no mosques but no more mosques.

The Islamization of Great Britain has to be be checked, terrorist are being born and bred right here in the UK and I feel the police would need to take a more harder line with the islamist and their hateful teachings before we have another July 7 attacks on this soil.

Please make up your mind……soon

The worst thing than having a mediocre Government is having an incompetent opposition. We have an opposition leader that wasn’t voted for by the majority of his party parliamentarians and only got elected thanks to the unions.
Going back to when David Cameron was elected leader of his party back in 2005, he has proven himself to be a shrewd politician and its no surprise that 5years later, he is the Prime Minister of this great nation.
Ed Miliband has to show that he is ready to reform the way his party works if Labour is ever to have a chance at the next election much like Tony Blair did in 1994 when he announced his intention to dump Clause 4 from Labour’s constitution.
What can Ed Miliband do?….he said he would look at the Coalition spending cuts and support the ones he felt were necessary though his policy now is to oppose ‘every’ policy brought forward by the coalition. Credit must be given though to him in acknowledging that Labour was wrong in going to war in Iraq something his brother would never have done if he’d had won.
People don’t really know where the Labour party stand today, do they oppose cuts altogether  or just the ones proposed by the coalition and it falls on Ed to make sure Labour’s message is loud and clear. This is essential to Ed Miliband’s chances of surviving as the leader of the opposition let alone of being the next Prime Minister(I highly doubt).
